Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 11, 2026
1. Overview
LiteWebsiteScreenshot turns website URLs into screenshots. This policy explains what data the Service processes when you use the tool page or the API.
2. Data We Collect
- Email address (signed-in users only): sign-in is provided through the Lite Lake User Center (UC). We receive your account identifier and email to associate your API keys and daily quota with you. We do not sell it or use it for advertising.
- IP address (all visitors): used for rate limiting and anti-abuse (the anonymous trial is limited per IP per day). IP addresses are not published and are not linked to your browsing history elsewhere.
- Submitted URLs and page metadata: the URL you request, and the resulting page title, final URL and image dimensions, are stored to operate the cache and the capture history.
3. Screenshots and Retention
Screenshots are stored in a private storage bucket. They are only accessible through short-lived signed links that we generate for you; there are no public links. Captures are deleted automatically after 1 day (cache TTL). Anyone with the signed link can view the capture while it is valid — treat links you share with the same care as the image itself.
4. What We Do Not Do
- No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- We do not read, profile or publish the content of pages you capture beyond operating the Service.
5. Analytics
The Service may use privacy-focused, aggregate analytics (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) to count page visits and improve the product. Analytics data is not associated with the URLs you capture.
6. Data Security
Traffic is encrypted via HTTPS. Storage credentials and signing keys are kept server-side and are never exposed to the browser.
7. Policy Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date above.
8. Contact
Questions about this policy may be sent through the contact channels published on the Lite Lake website.
